The layout of this form follows the natural segments and sequence of the peer review coordinator's job, with the report generation functions clustered below. The case score report allows immediate, routine feedback to clinicians of the results of peer review, independent of any committee actions.
Performance feedback is integral to the PREPSM concept of moving from QA to QI by conducting peer review as an exercise in clinical performance improvement.
Old cases can be retrieved from this form with the patient name or medical record number. They can also be retrieved by selecting the committee and entering the case number on the Select Case form.
