As we enter our 6th month of activity, we have been very pleased with the development of the Nursing Practice Peer Review program. You have been very receptive to customizing and upgrading our PREP-MSTM software based on suggestions and recommendations from our peer review support staff and myself.
Other disciplines at the hospital have expressed interest in adopting a similar model for peer review as a result of our success and positive feedback.
The Nursing Practice Peer Review Council has brought to light several systems and process issues which have been or are being addressed. Interest in membership on the Council has expanded since its implementation.
