Vāstu Site Preparation

Clearing Trees

The property I found was heavily wooded. The soil has a high clay content with amazing structural support (4000 lbs/sqft), but needed to be dry enough to handle the heavy equipment needed to clear it. Site work began in earnest the first full week of July 2017 following installation and inspection of erosion control fences.

It took several weeks to log the trees and transport them for milling. We had to clear about an acre to make sufficient space for the Vāstu, water well, geothermal wells and final grading.
